How does Reach work with QuickBooks?
Reach is an approved QuickBooks 3rd party app integration. This allows accounts and report data to update data to be used.
How often does Reach update based on QuickBooks changes?
Reach updates within minutes by using a feature that checks for updates in the company file in QuickBooks Online.
Is there a limit on the number of reports I can download?
There is no limit to the number of downloads.
Does it work for QuickBooks Desktop?
QuickBooks Desktop is synced by using our Reach Reporting Desktop Connector. This is downloaded and run to sync with data from the company file.
I have 20+ years of experience in the accounting/finance industry working in leadership for privately owned businesses in the technology and services industries.
Having said that, I have used, implemented, and upgraded many systems and add-ons and have found that most are so complicated that it requires IT staff or they are so simplistic that Excel remains the better solution.

The customization is very easy to use, intuitive, and very much designed to think like Excel but, of course, without the potential for human interface errors, constant updating. The QBO Budget integration is awesome and is designed to report actual vs. budget and any number of forecast versions with a mouse click. I continue to build/maintain my budget and forecast versions in Excel, then import the budget and forecast versions into QBO, and the rest is a delightful, easy-to-use actual vs. budget/forecast output in REACH.
